Tablets - by Midge 🐢

β€’31 Replies

Our house is full of tablets

To keep us plodding on

Some of them are meant for me

And some are meant for Don

He's got COPD and stuff

And peritonitis got me

So some of them are steroids

And they're the same you see

I make sure we take them

We both are doing fine

But sometimes I've been taking his

And he's been taking mine

Oh dear what a muddle Midge

It really will not do

Just put yours in the fridge

And the masters down the loo!

Only joking! Excellent as always Don. Xxx πŸ‘πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜πŸ’–

Scruffs says i hardly ever see my slave taking a pill

And my anti flea and worming stuff would really make him ill

But if i ever catch him taking my tuna supplement

I will leave home and find another slave who doesn't charge me rent. :)

Good afternoon Mr.D and Midge 🀴🐢 !! Loving your rhyme, you are one very clever girl Midge and a lucky girl to have Mr.D. as your best buddie.

Pills, pills and more πŸ’Šcapsules/pills. Then there's the bloomin' Devil pills we really don't want to take but the little Devils do keep us from occupying a πŸ₯πŸ›Œ hospital bed! Nice to be reassured that you both look after one another. So the two girls aren't full of sniffs and sneezes, left in the campervan all alone, lol πŸ˜‚ .πŸ’•

I remember one of the few winters my parents spent in England. Dad smoked a pipe and coughed, I had asthma and wheezed and coughed, Mum also had a black pug that wheezed. First thing every morning she lined us up and gave us all a spoon of cod liver oil + malt, no change of spoon between doses (dog last thank goodness).

Oh I used to love cod liver oil and ate jars of malt right up until March of this year, one of my absolute favourites - Yummy!

My daughter hated me for insisting that she take a spoonful of cod liver oil and malt every morning but am sure this helped her chest, she always had infections when young . I still take it x

I know, most kids nowadays always have so many coughs and colds, it should be the main goto, probably thought of as old fashioned, the good ones always work x

Where do you get all these ideas. ? I think about trying to reply in rhyme as others do so cleverly but I’m not up to it. Well done one again

The Cap'n gets most of his ideas from Midge and of course he has a lovely shiny tongue as well - nose is a tad cold too :-)

I would appreciate a front view more!

I liked her visitor. Her fame must have spread far and wide to attract such a handsome admirer.

Lovely
