Does anyone have any ways I can get rid of my irrational thinking, or at least manage it? When I'm feeling anxious I always work myself up into huge states over scenarios I've made up in my head. It takes over my life sometimes.

Same here , I do exactly the same as you , then the scenarios are never what we build them up to be ,,,what a waste of energy & time I waste
I do alot of talking to myself asking why I am doing this & so on & telling myself to shut up
It works a little bit , remembering its my anxiety that causes these thoughts
Get on here when you start getting irrational thoughts , once you have got them out & read them back & get some support , it should help you get them into perspective , worth a go

It's horrible isn't it, yet I STILL manage to work myself up every time even if I know I'm being ridiculous. Yeah, I'm definitely going to utilise this website...it seems to be a good tool.

Unfortunately irrational thinking is done by everyone! You do not have to have anxiety to over-think. Reading or distracting yourself is the only way to get rid of it. You just need to find what weorks for you.
It's illogical captain. Talk yourself thro it. Be busy. Distract. Take care
