Concessionary Travel on Public Transport

hello all..................

here in Scotland i just got a bus pass due to my depression/anxity problems !

you need to get form NCT002 filled in by an appropriate professional & hand it in with the NCT001 form.......

id like to hear how many of you have got the pass under this rule even though we are all over the uk.

Bit of a drain on the NHS!

do you think?

i don't think it is at all & i find it very helpful as when im able i can pop out for a bus run to cheer myself up.

i also have mild emphysema so its also been very handy for when im not as able some days.

I don't think it's a drain on the NHS at all. You're perfectly entitled to concessionary travel. They wouldn't grant it otherwise. And you're contributing to keeping public transport alive.

Anything the helps you to get out and about has got to be a good thing.

Think I''ll apply myself. Thanks for the tip.

Aye,it's a great idea,if you don't have a car or don't want to drive,I can only drive for short spells, can't go on motorway ,I get panicky and "what ifs",yet I have drove for 35 plus years.
