Sotalol

Has anyone been prescribed sotalol ?iv been given them for palpitations,?

I've been prescribed sotalol for atrial flutter - when the top chamber of the heart goes into a feedback loop and starts beating so fast the bottom chambers can't keep up (but still beat pretty fast - 120 to 150 beats per minute). Sotalol is the best medication I've had for this.
