Does anyone find their anxiety increases and feelings of not coping increase after drinking alcohol? Feeling awful today.

Yes, to the point were I very rarely drink alcohol now and only at home when I do and only if I'm off the following day. Not that I want to drink much but I'd like to at least have the option without thinking about the 'what ifs'

I'm thinking about giving it up, I've had such a low day :( its not worth it, feel like I've gone ten steps backwards.

I think a few is okay but not massive amounts. Let me know if you do have a few and how you felt :) x

If I can't drink again that's not an issue, along as it helps. Thanks for sharing and we'll done! X

Had a fair few last night, and surprise surprise this morning I've woken up dizzy, spaced out and on the edge of a panic attack so it most certainly has a big impact. Like many I never used to find it a problem but now sadly it leaves me tackling my worst fears (namely loosing my mind) and brings on all the related symptoms. Dizziness the sweats and shakes, the butterflies in the tummy and that stuffed up sinuous and heady sensation.

So as fun as the drink is, I think I'll be staying clear too for a while.
