prozac side affects

Hi ,im after some feedback on prozac,as ive been on it 2 months,but as of late,i seem to be getting a strange side affect(thats if it is the prozac),i can only describe it as a band of pressure in my temples,spreading to my forehead.and top of head,has any one else had these symptoms due to meds or anxiety,thanks

Hi Gordon, ive been on prozac for two and a half years now and they all come with side effects unfortunately. these symptoms you are talking about sound more like just anxiety in general. i get that round my head and round my back and my rib cage and the more i worry the more it seems to ache. it could possibly be the prozac but i would try and stick at it and try some relaxation techniques when you feel this way at its worst. give rescue remedy spray at try to help you unwind aswell. if not change meds. i must say out of all the meds ive tried prozac have the less invasive side effects to all the others. let me know how you get on and take care. xxxxxxxx

Hi I am on same med for more than a year... Regularly get pressure in head but I just call it headache take pain killers and it gets better I think relaxation could help but I haven't tried.
