Don't know if this happens to us anxious people, but everytime I go to my annual check up I get super anxious and I literally am unable to concentrate during and right after the tests etc. I feel that something will come up in the tests that will be fatal or very bad. I just got lots of the results almost immediately and they are not perfect so I am super worried because I will not have the results appointment until two weeks from now. I just googled the meaning of teh results and they can meaning a lot of things, including the usual suspects (fatal conditions, e.g. cancer, eytc.)
Am I alone on this?

No you are far from alone in this it is very common. As hard as it is to do, try not to google symptoms. It is a classic thing for anxiety types to do (and I am guilty of it big time) but it will play into your anxiety. Just remember most things can be treated now (including anxiety) which is likely your main issue. I sound like a broken record but check out the work of Dr Harry Barry (yes that is his name) he is excellent drharrybarry.com/resources/ wishing you peace and health.
You are not alone! Doctors appointments are one of the few things I truly suffer anxiety from. I've always said, I could be going in to get a hangnail checked and I would still be irrationally worried. I've come to the realization that due to my brain chemistry, this will likely always be an issue. What helps a little is, I warm up my magic bag (bean bag that you put in the microwave) so it's SUPER hot, then I put it at the bottom of my tote bag, that I use like a purse. I put my bag on my lap for the car ride there, while waiting in the waiting room and during my appointment. The warmth really is soothing and comforts me a bit. I also found some relaxing music to play while waiting for my appointment. Waiting for results is a whole other thing. I know it's hard and I really feel for you because I experience the same thing and I know how anxiety producing that is. I agree with others on here, don't look up things on the internet. That's been my number one rule the past 20 years or so and it has served me well.
I just got results and some of my blood work indicators came a little high, so not feeling calm as of now. Today I will be consulting an hematologist, which makes it even harder.
