OCD once every month?

I wonder whether anyone else experiences this. I have generalised anxiety disorder but once a month I’ll typically have an irrational anxiety/obsession that I will ruminate on for hours/days on end. After this period of time/for the next three weeks I’m back to next to no anxiety/ low-level generalised anxiety. Has anyone else experienced this or similar?

Hi Marie _ L Could it be linked to hormones and your monthly cycle. Hormones can play a big part on how you feel. I am post menopause and my body went through all kinds of physical things and as for my anxiety that has got worse. I wish you all the best x

yes, I am in this same sort of cycle. I am having hormones tested
