Anxiety certainly messes with our entire body. Lots of GI stress, lots of imbalance. I found that I was losing vision when my BP started fluctuating and we still don't know why. I was quite low at 90/60 and that's when I lose vision. Suddenly I'll be at 160/110 and I feel like my heart will burst out my chest. I don't know if it is truly possible to fry your nervous system, but when in extreme panic I cannot do much more than try to live through the episode and distract. Lately it has become harder with a few things triggering me from my past. I too often do not know why I'm so anxious and others don't have the same anxiety. It's been keeping me down and haven't left the house in two weeks. I don't know what I would do without all of the delivery services these days. I'm up at 1:30AM right now because my mind just would't shut down. At least I had a decent nap yesterday for 90 minutes. Doesn't happen often, but I just closed my eyes and fell asleep. As night time rolled around later, and all the kids were running around the house being very loud, I snapped a bit. They are at this day camp for two weeks and it's a wonderful experience, but my kids are old enough to be doing more around the house to help. Since I'm on disability, I manage really all of the kid's schedule and it's just never ending. How can I help them if I can't care for myself at the moment. I literally got out of bed at 11pm as I knew I wasn't going to sleep. You certainly are not alone in your feelings. I read an article about loneliness and something like 40% of adults feel that they are lonely. How sad is that? Certainly when we are down and out with our mind and emotions, loneliness creeps in pretty quickly. Sending healing vibes your way!

No relatives near by and we aren't a big family really. My mother is in hospice so am trying to get to her but it's a long trip. We have 50/50 custody with my ex so the kids are with us the second half of this summer. I've got a long physical health journey ahead of me....well maybe not long as I'm terminal. Could be today, but hoping for at least 5 more years to see my kids to a certain age. COVID kicked off some strange and quite rare autoimmune diseases for me. I sort of went through all of the bad top five traumas at once: divorce, move, job loss, health loss and now soon to be parental loss. I spend a lot of time with PTSD focused therapy which is just much better for me than the CBT I had done for so many years. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
