Amoxicillin and Celexa

Im on celexa 10mg daily and just was prescribed amoxicillin for throat infection. I'm scared to take it bc fear of interactions. Has anyone else used amoxicillin while on celexa and been ok?

I did. They said there shouldn't be any interactions. I made myself take it a little over two hours ago. Now I just got to keep myself distracted. Do you have any tips on how to keep my self distracted so I don't over think?

Remind yourself that there is no problem. Your druggist said there are no interactions and druggists know about interactions. You have no reason to worry. The problem is not drug interactions, but rather the problem is why you cannot rely on the advice of the professional druggist and also your doctor.

The druggist (pharmacist) knows more about drug interactions than your Dr. does. Working as an RN in a Emergency department as an RN, we called the pharmacy for drug information..You can trust that their information is accurate

A throat infection will go away without drugs as a rule it may just take a little longer.. If you are able to cope do not put yourself through the stress of taking extra tabs at your age the body should be able to fight it. YOU are strong!!!

Thank you so much. I just have this constant pressure in my head right now which they think is due to allergies. But its never been like this before. Only way I feel ok or it stops is to lay down. And I don't know whether to get that checked or not. Theyll probably just say its my anxiety and im tired of hearing that 😴

I am so lucky I had and still have pressure in my head . Had it for years but now know so much can be and is that horrible word anxiety!!! It is not a small thing but it is something I can now cope with. You will in time I am so sorry because I know how long it takes to accept symtoms are acceptable as is my bad spelling . That does not get any better! Float through panic . I used to wake in the night sure I was dying for years. I have got to 72 and not dead yet. You are going to be fine sweetheart. You are A. B.
