Celexa: Had anyone ever tried Celexa? - Anxiety Support
Celexa
I have and i had horrible reaction to it so they put me on Prozac which I have not taken cuz I'm to afraid of side effects but it all has different effects on ppl I'd give it s try
Terrible drug! High blood pressure, sweating, dry mouth and dry eyes, vision issues, and lack of energy! I'll never take it again!
Mine was pain down my spine sweats panic attack and throwing up!
Hi, I've taken this and never had any side effects. It did help me for depression and when I stop taking it I didn't have any withdrawal problems either. Hope this helps.
I think I read Zoloft can take up to 4 weeks to kick in. It's suppose to be more beneficial when used in conjunction with CBT for anxiety. Do you live in the uk?
There's a book called The Mindfulness Way through Depression you could try. It can be bit heavy going in some places. I'm in a similar situation to you, I have anxiety and depression and I'm currently taking mirtazapine, but it just takes the edge of it, doesn't completely resolve it. So, I bought the book after someone suggested it. It does help and I found it useful in explaining the the way the mind tries to fix depression and why it's mostly unsuccessful. There's a programme to follow with meditation and shows you how gently shift you focus on things
i have tried to get on 4 different medications! Was unsuccessful with each one! The side effects were dreadful! I am know taking many healthy supplements and eating healthy! It's a slow process but I am feeling less anxious and less depressed! Lots of b vitamins!
So what kind of vitamins just b? Or more cuz I hate taking meds they scare me
No lots more! Vitamin a for eyes, b complex, riboflavin ( another b), lots of omega 3's ( 4 a day) b12, vitamin d, a great herbal vitamin for anxiety called rhodiola!! Need to get high quality vitamins from health food store! Been working with a natural path for 4 months! When I started seeing him I had so much anxiety! I am feeling about 70 percent better! Just gotta get rid of the eye symptom!!
Meds scare the crap out of me! The list of side effects are crazy! I will do my best to stay off of them, if I'm able!!
Anxiety sucks! I find keeping busy and not focusing helps! When I feel the wave starting I tell myself this is only anxiety it will pass!!
How are you doing on them? Any side effects????
