The ringing in my ear has been loud and debilitating since I stopped taking setraline. It’s not all the time I can go a couple weeks without it happening at all but when it does it f’s me up man. Has anyone experienced this and does it give you headaches and the imbalance thing?

Tinnitus and Setraline
Have you spoken to an Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor. I would do this. I don't have any particular medical knowledge, but I find it a bit unusual that it would be connected to the sertraline. It sounds uncomfortable, so checking further would be helpful and would also relieve your anxiety. Also, there may well be a treatment.
No. I’m going to speak to my GP on Monday but ringing in the ear and dizziness is a side effect of coming off setraline. It overwhelms me which in turn does make my anxiety worse. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced headaches and the imbalance feeling with tinnitus and if they found anything that helps deal.
I have tinnitus and off balance feelings. I find they’re caused by anxiety and not a medication specifically. I have learned to live with both things which has taken several years. When my anxiety level is low, I don’t have the ringing as much. I’m off balance a lot of the time but it’s worse when I’m anxious.
