Hi Bethwhite, going from my own experience, if it were bad news, a doctor's office would
more likely ask you to come in for more tests or another appointment BUT...not a month later. Sounds like you are sitting on pins and needles waiting for the results.
Are you able to call the office?? Wish you well Beth xx
Thank you so much. Well I wasn’t worried at all with how long it has took I spoke to a manager today on the unit chasing the results and she told me my appointment is over the phone on the 18th may to tell me the next steps which was a month after my mri it took the radiologist 9 days to even send to my consultant I was only worried because last time he just sent me my results by letter then I had the follow up consultation 2 months after the results to arrange next mri and this time I’m being told over the phone. Xxx
Hi, I have worked for several consultants and their choice is to see you face to face for bad news. Hope all goes well.
Hope so it’s being a month since the scan plus when I was put on a cancer referral I saw him face to face before going for mri and spoke to a few people under same hospital that’s said they’ve always got bad news face to face plus he reviewed my results on 26th and he’s booked me a app three weeks after reviewing them so would imagine it would be quicker if anything bad x
