Hi Binkynoo, I'm glad you are getting blood tests done soon.
I too have Fibro which can cause some of those symptoms.
I've never taken a sleeping pill so can't advise on that.
Let us know what the doctor says tomorrow. It's possible the
thyroid may be contributing to these symptoms Good Luck with your
appointment xx
Thankyou Agora1 just trying to relax best I can to get a few hours of sleep before the school run. Waking suddenly is the worst at the min . Thankyou
Hi,
I am not sure if this will help but l also have a thyroid issue (hypothyroidism) and when I was waking up suddenly and getting palpitations, I later realised that it was due to my low vit. D (reading was below 50nmol/L).
I took me over 1 year to figure this out. My anxiety symptoms reduced drastically when I was put on a high dose of vit. D. fyi - vit D should be taken with K2 and magnesium. This may or may not be the issue for you but in my opinion, it is worth getting some blood work done to check vit. D, B12, ferritin and folate.
Also, may be a good idea to join the thyroid forum, they are very helpful.
Hope you feel better soon.
