2 weeks ago i had chills and sweating with a bit of body warm .. temperature but just a bit . My belly was hurting like a mild pain. So i called in sick .. In 2 days there was no more symptoms at all .. So i started working again after 24 hours of no symptoms .(i said it was a stomach bugas i did not go to gp)i try to avoid doctors and hospitals these days...
Now i got 3 days off but in my second day off i started having same symptoms again but more chills and more fever (it was burning when urinating) . Again after 2 days symptoms completely disappeared except the sweats at night . I tried going to work Again so yesterday i was working (had some sweats at work but nothing much ) my pelvic area hurts just a bit . So last night i had sweats that became cold sweats , i could not sleep at all . I think i have no more tshirts that are not sweat . From 15 to 15 minutes i had to change my clothes . Slept 2 hours from 2:30 to 4:30 when i had to wake up to go to work . But i called in sick again
I dont know why i feel guilty for calling in sick. How can i explain i’m sick again ... this never happened to me .. i think i become “unprofessional “ and that some people would have go Work even if they where wasted like i was .
What can i do ?

I'm sorry your feeling like this sounds to me like a UTI (urine infection) but there's so much flying around and with the covid back with a vengeance we are stuck aint we my husband is the same at the minute too hes cold and then hot wet through and dripping hes been taking sudofed today so fingers crossed but if I was you I wouldnt go to work id call in sick just incase its contagious just take paracetamol and drink plenty obviously if it persist then maybe ring your gp but I'm lime you I refuse to go to anything medical hope you feel better soon xxx
Sorry you had a rough time of it. If you have sick leave then you should take it. You don't have to feel guilty. Most workplaces would be grateful if you stayed home to avoid sharing any bug. If you are sure it was UTI then okay but in this Covid-19 time, you probably should rule this out.
Sounds like a UTI might an idea to contact your doctor, you may need an antibiotic?
As for work, well if your sick your sick, at least you tried going into work, also because you wouldn't want your colleagues to catch anything from you if you do have an infection? It's better to stay home and speak to your doctor before returning to work
