I’ve recently put on zopiclone. I have terrible anxiety I’ve tried other things to help me sleep and they have work. But these do nothing bar make it hard for me to coordinate when I get up to walk. I’ve taken 3 nights in Perth tonight I’m wide awake took 9 the other night just ended up in pain still awake... anyone else find them useless? Going. Through some bad stuff at moment and need to sleep to help me through it
Thanks

What strength do you take?,I take the 3.75mg and it works well for me,maybe you should speak to ur doctor to tweek the dose around or change the med.Goodluck
Hi Barney. That's really unusual. Zopiclone is one of the strongest sleeping tablets. I suggest you tell your doctor that they are not working for you. I'm just wondering whether they've tried giving you a placebo instead and that it's not actually Zopiclone. A short course of Diazepam might be more helpful for you but Gp's are reluctant to prescribe these unfortunately. I really hope your sleep does improve. Have you tried guided meditation and /or mindfulness before bed?
Hi, I take 2 of the 7.5mg at night. As I am grieving for my husband who sadly did 4 months ago I find that I automatically wake every 2 hours then struggle to get back to sleep for an hour.
On my second wake up I give up trying to sleep.
As Zopiclone used to work fine before when I just had my physical pain to combat at night I would say they are good.
But now I have grief, and my anxiety is at an all time high then they are pretty useless.
So maybe ask your GP for something else to take at night alongside the zopiclone.
I also need to take my own advice. Hope your manage a full nights sleep soon
I'm having the same problem now , im on 3.75mg and i was only given 14 i finished them still not sleeping at all i can go 48 hours without sleep. When i doo sleep its for like 16 hours but i struggle to go back
