I’m having health anxiety relating to my heart. I keep checking my pulse, and it seems to be missing beats every 5-6 beats. My anxiety is very high right now. Is this normal?

Erratic pulse
When my anxiety was bad and I had panic attacks, my heart would do 'flip flops'. After wearing a heart monitor for 24 hours(before my anxiety was diagnosed), the doctor said they are PVCS-premature ventricular contractions, and very common and normal. Many people are unaware of them.
Thought creates reality and will bring on the symptoms, so say to yourself that you are fine and not having a heart attack, and there is nothing wrong with me.
If you haven't been physically checked out to rule out any actual health problems, please do so. I am only referring to anxiety related physical symptoms here.
Yes! I had the same exact issue. I’ve seen my cardiologist many times for this and they are harmless PVCS. Premature ventricular contractions or PACS, Premature Atrial contractions. Everyone gets them. The heart is an amazing and strong organ. You’d be surprised how much it can handle. I think you would feel much better after making an appointment with the cardiologist and allowing him to rule out anything else and hearing from him that these are harmless. I’ve been through what you’re going through. I’ve suffered with them for the past 20 years. It gets better. Look about a book by Doctor Carolyn Dean about magnesium deficiency and the heart. It’s helped me tremendously. I hope this helps you.
