Shortness of breath after little activities

After like 5 mins of walking I get short of breath pulse pounding I hate it this never happened before I go up the steps short of breath like what

Check your breathing Zhiyah...you could be holding your breath while walking or

going up the steps. Breathe smooth and deeply when moving your muscles.

Push away any negative thoughts you may have in your mind. You will be okay. :) xx

I have found that during times of high anxiety it can be difficult to exercise, but if I push a little through it evens itself out. I know its tough, but anxiety can fool us into thinking that we are not able to do something. There are many times that I take a long walk (5 miles or more) and think I cant do it in the beginning and anxiety says go back ,but at the end I feel invigorated and also I find that my mind gets cleared during the walk of everything that is holding me back. Of course always make sure you are healthy enough to go for a walk before doing it, but if its just an uneasy feeling try to push through it.

Okay Z, I just read the post where you said you have Allergic Asthma. Your biggest symptom with that is shortness of breath. I have a challenge for you. Post a comment with every symptom you've had in the last month. No comments just the list. I think we can help you.

Shortness of breath feeling like not breathing right

Weird head pains and feelings

Swollen lymph nodes

Sore throats

Aching arms and back pain

Chest flutters and drops

Fast heart rate

Excessive yawning

Vision issues

Ear pains

Common anxiety signs and symptoms include:

Feeling nervous, restless or tense

*Having an increased heart rate

=Fast heart rate

*Breathing rapidly (hyperventilation)

=Shortness of breath feeling like not breathing right

*Feeling weak or tired

*Trouble concentrating or thinking about anything other than the present worry

*Experiencing gastrointestinal (GI) problems

*Having difficulty controlling worry

Having the urge to avoid things that trigger anxiety

GAD Specific which is what I have.

Persistent worrying or anxiety about a number of areas that are out of proportion to the impact of the events

*Having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom

=Your worry about cancer and other illnesses

*Perceiving situations and events as threatening, even when they aren't

Difficulty handling uncertainty

Indecisiveness and fear of making the wrong decision

*Inability to set aside or let go of a worry

Inability to relax, feeling restless, and feeling keyed up or on edge

Difficulty concentrating, or the feeling that your mind "goes blank"

*Fatigue

=Excessive yawning

*Trouble sleeping

= you've mentioned several times about not sleeping

*Muscle tension or muscle aches

=Aching arms and back pain

Trembling, feeling twitchy

Nervousness or being easily startled

Sweating

Nausea, diarrhea or irritable bowel syndrome

Irritability

I haven't read all of your posts but I matched up symptoms you have mentioned and put an * by everyone you've mentioned.

The rest sounds like a common cold or sinusitis.
