Got over my surgery. Slowly getting over more and more anxiety triggers. Now it’s starting a new medicine.

I was on Prozac and I lost all sense of love and sexual desire for my boyfriend. Then my panic attacks sky rocketed. My practitioner wants me to try Zoloft but I’m nervous this feeling will never get better or I’ll get worse. I’m sick of the cloudy floating anxious feeling and the constant anxiety attacks.

Hi Aguglielmo, I'm glad you are healing well after your surgery.

Now it's time to take care of your anxiety issues. You have nothing

to loose by trying the medication your doctor recommended. It may be

just what you need to feel better. Zoloft may help lower those anxious

feelings which in turn will stop the anxiety attacks.

While on medication, it is always a good idea to have therapy along with

it so that you can work on the root of the problem. There is always a reason

for you feeling like this. Once you can accept that anxiety is not dangerous

and can be controlled by you, you can go forward in life. :) xx
