Chest issue

I everyone.

Yesterday, I was working out. I did a bunch of chest exercises with weights and body weight.

Long story short, today my chest very very tight and sore, so much so that I’m unable to take a complete breath. The tightness goes very deep in my chest. My oxygen is fine, but it’s still worrisome. I’ve been having a lot of anxiety about it today. I’m a hypochondriac so my thoughts shoot to coronavirus or pneumonia. Any comments are appreciated.

Hi treyjeff....oh I remember the days when I worked out hard with weights

as well as body weight exercises and even water exercise using webbed gloves

for more resistance. The endorphin levels skyrocket while doing it but I always

knew I would feel the effects of it the next day.

Rather than think of it as something wrong, embrace the feeling as something

very natural after a good workout. Always think back to what you did as to what

would prompt what your feeling. Knowing there is a rational reason will help

lower your anxiety level. Good Job my friend. :) xx

Good on you for working out🏋️‍♂️, definitely good for our mental health 🙂I will say it sounds that you overdid the amount of exercise. Some gentle stretching will help today. Going for a walk to move the lactic acid which causes stiffness is also recommended for recovery. Tomorrow will be better. You can reset and go again 👍
