This Happens to me a lot as Well.. My Mom passed a little over a Year ago.. I wake up with this feeling like I just came from a happy place then I wake up and Im here.. Without her.. The mood im in when I wake up depends on the dream i had the night before.. Sometimes Im dreaming but talking about everything that is on my mind like talking to a therapist.. Then Wake up feeling really good.. I know this all may sound weird.. Keep a Journal of ypur dreams.. And watch your thoughts before bed.. Listening to affirmations while sleeping helps.
