*Update: 1 week on Lexapro

So, I have been on my Lexapro since Wed so it's been almost a week as tomorrow is Wed again. Today I am having diarrhea, jaw tension, blurry vision with a headache, still don't have much appetite but can eat, and I am pretty tired and I have some tightness in my chest that comes and goes. I have 2 little girls at home and this makes truly sleeping a little more difficult as one is 8 months and wakes up 2 to 3 times a night. I am trying my best to get through to the other side. I am feeling a little better in the afternoon so I guess that helps.

It takes about 3 weeks for Lexapro to take full effect. Stress can bring on diarrhea, it did for me. Unless you have read those side effects on the info with the drug, it probably is not the cause for it. It's a good drug. I have used it for 3 different periods of time and came of it easily by tapering off.
