Anxious scared feeling disoriented and dizzy eyes eyes

Like walking in a boat

Any advice

Don’t know if I can cope each day

The mornings I am alll anxious but few hrs later the head feeling comes and lasts all day untill I go to sleep

It’s like I am drunk but not

I am trying to hold it together but I feel I am sufferering

Anyone else had this and how long does it take

I am taking diazapam to help but it’s not

Shall I go back on it ???

Dr offered me fluxetine few weeks ago before stopping but I never took them as was so scared

Plz someone out there tell I am ok and will pass or do I just start back on them again

Tbh I would do anything to feel stable again

I can’t seem to handle stress and can’t think straight

Some days I’m fine.. others I feel like I’m walking on a trampoline or a boat .. or the room feels like it’s moving or dropping. So frustrating. I am on lexapro for 2 months now. Not much have changed. I have no answers. MRI was normal. Also have tinnitus.

in reply to Kaquilino2513

I totally get u

It’s awful

My eyes feel they are not catching up with my brain

And heavy eyes

It’s like I am wearing someone’s glasses

So hard to explain

It’s got worse since stopping citrapram

I get head pressure too

I might have to go on meds again

Can’t cope another day like it

It’s weird how mornings it’s gone then progresses through the day

How the hell do u cope ? Xxx

in reply to

I also grt bad neck pain and aches then it appears x

Omg I get the eye thing as well! It’s so annoying. This all started in October , - before that I was totally fine. Now to get me in a store alone is a battle. It’s hard to cope. I have a 13 year old son and a 7 year old son. I force myself but I’m mostly in bed a lot . And my husband doesn’t understand and is always yelling at me and it makes it worse

in reply to Kaquilino2513

I so feel for you

I am sure I have some terminal illness

Had bloods all ok

But still panicking day in day out

I get it bad when walking too

And when looking at phone too

It’s never ending xxx

in reply to

Surely it’s can’t be all anxiety

in reply to

No one will ever understand unless they get into our heads for one day then they will know

But trying to explain it

It’s soo hard

Your husband should have your brain for one day then he won’t be moaning x

Sadly that is part of anxiety, when I get the balance problems or feel the room is spinning or like you describe being on a boat(mine is like being on a boat in a storm) I found that laying down but with one foot on the floor the rocking and spinning stops ,the pain in my chest and the floaty things like transparrent worms in my eyes will stay for hours like when I get migraine

in reply to Delzek

Awful I know

Sooo scary

Wat the hell is wrong with our heads

Wish I never went on meds but I was 24 when I first when on them

I am 48 now x

Hey. Have you looked into a spinal leak? I ya e the same symptoms as you and am being worked up now for a spinal leak

Sounds profile image
Sounds

I had terrible withdrawal when I came off sertraline. It was so bad I ended up in the hospital. They put me on clonazepam and a new ssri. It took a little bit but I slowly started feeling better. I am now back at work. I couldn’t have survived without the other medication though. I think that my brain was completely lost without the serotonin. It just sucks that it takes so long for a new one to kick in. Hang in there and don’t be afraid to ask for help.

in reply to Sounds

Can I ask wat symptoms you had ?

It started with nausea and diarrhea and lightheadedness and then it moved to racing heartbeat and extreme anxiety. Like I was having a panic attack all of the time

Hello mate , I am ten days cold turkey from Mirtazapine 45 mg. you are not alone my friend . Battle through , you are a as strong as a horse , and you’ll get through it. I got brain zaps right now, and it’s almost like having a star wars shooting scene in my head with the laser guns . As much as I hate it, I have trained myself to laugh each time it happens . What don’t kill us, makes us stronger . I suggest going on a heavy dose of turmeric extract , and 3 litres of water a day, and flush the citalopram out. You can do this mate , trust me, I am going through it with you bud

in reply to Ryan990

Did u get the unbalanced feeling ? X

Like you wouldn’t believe . Can I ask what country you are from? And yes, I felt shocks of dizziness

in reply to Ryan990

Ps I take diazapam 2 or 3mg a day to calm me

Uk

I am worrying now bout the other comment bout spinal leak !!!

Lol I have bad health anxiety

Ryan990 profile image
Ryan990 in reply to

You do not have spinal leak , it’s the anxiety . I have health anxiety myself , I was convinced my heart wasn’t working properly , I had irregular heart rhythms for hours every day, my liver hurt, my chest had constant pressure . It’s anxiety . As hard to believe that the brain can do this, but it can . Can I suggest , there is a tea I get shipped from Germany called matcha tea , it’s not like your bullshit camomile tea and lavender tea. This stuff is potent . I use a site called matchatoday.co.uk , and I get the Indonesian MD strain. Put it this way, it’s so effective , that people have cured addiction with it . It’s a strong pain killer and cures anxiety and depression . Like I said, it’s very very potent , and you start with a quarter tea spoon , mix it into tea or coffee , and work the dose up slowly until you hit the sweet spot . That website is the only one I have found that has fresh legit matcha. If unsure , drop customer service an email , talk to them about your mental health , and they will point you in the right direction. Put it this way, I have 500 grams in my cupboard , and I swear by it. Hope this helps . Just remember , you are not dying , your spine is fine. It’s anxiety , and withdraws xx

The amount of google symptoms I have checked out omg

I have every illness x

Never Google things when you are Ill , my Sister used to do that and by the time She got to her Drs She had every symptom that was on Google! It's better to talk to your Doctor or Pharmacist as they can help with your genuine symptoms rather than with Googled symptoms !! I hope you get better soon

in reply to Delzek

I know google seems to be my best friend

As I don’t talk to anyone bout it x

I live with three Parrots, I enjoy talking to them when they allow me to get a word in! I rarely speak to people in person, I do occasionally talk to Family on Skype or WhatsApp, but mostly keep to myself, my ex who does my cleaning and Laundry, I will sit with for a while when she has finished and have a chat.otherwise I don't see or speak to anyone apart from Family or Dr ,my Dentist or when I end up in hospital because of medical conditions. So peaceful even with 3 Parrots, as they are not as noisy or argumentative as one Wife😂😂😂

in reply to Delzek

Love parrots

Delzek in reply to

My Parrot friends think they own Me! If I don't rub their necks or the top of their heads, they scream the Place down! Police turned up just after I moved here,as someone reported that a Child was screaming in terror! My cousin is a Police Detective Inspector so when the Police arrived two of them were telling them to go fornicate in not so polite terms. As far as Citalopram is Concerned ,If it is affecting you as bad as it sounds ask your Dr if it is safe to go back on them if it is then I would.

Lol u make me laugh

I used to be like you

But since this

I feel so scared and just can’t seem to shake this fear

Don’t know if I should re start my citapram?

Ryan990 profile image
Ryan990 in reply to

Do what you feel you are comfortable with . Personally , I’d ride it out, and I use matcha tea for the withdraws . Not gonna lie, it does make me euphoric .

in reply to Ryan990

What is scary is there when I am walking

I feel like I am drunk but not

I feel my vision is dizzy but inside my head

And when I lok down I feel the floor is moving

Is this all part of it ?

Yes

Only relief is when I am at home laying in bed watching tv I feel a sence if calm

Ryan990 profile image
Ryan990 in reply to

Yes it’s 100% normal . Sudden head movements trigger it. Staying still makes the symptoms less severe

in reply to Ryan990

Yes that’s it

That’s my feeling

Did u have it

in reply to Ryan990

Can we private chat as I feel u understand me if ok

Have you stopped too abruptly. Go back on to 5mgs and see if you improve. If not go back up to 10. Then speak to your pharmacist about coming of gradually. However if you still need them, what’s the problem with taking them. Try and remember, you’ve survived like this before you can do it again. X

Yes good anz

I may do that thank u x
