I started taking citalopram by cutting the pill into 5mg for 1 week and the first 2 days I was just anxious because making that decision made me anxious. But then the 3rd day I noticed I had anxiety from the medication it made me super jumpy and anxious and I started feeling really off like I couldn’t drive well. But I stayed on it for a few more days and then it got better but I stopped taking it I didn’t go up in dosage because I was afraid

I got off of it and started just changing my environment too like I unfortunately had to stop being a performer for a little, I sing and act but I had to make life changes for my mental health since I was afraid to stay on pills I decided to try the natural route which isn’t always a quick fix but helped me feel better about it. I also started taking cbd oil 20mg under the tongue which I was terrified about at first too because I’m afraid of anything making anxiety worse. But luckily it didn’t. I recommend to not do anything alone, find a friend, find someone that can be there with you through it all. Someone that is willing to drive you to the hospital if for some reason you think you really need to go which you won’t most likely but just for mental peace before taking anything new. Someone that can distract you from the anxious thoughts.

I’ve been doing so much better, I don’t take cbd every day maybe 2 times a week now 😁

Hi, quick answer is yes. As I recall it was very unpleasant, anxiety, shakes, fatigue, fuzzy head, tingling limbs. Gave up a few times but finally stuck with it. Took around 5 weeks to settle down and did make a great difference ( I would say back to normal ) . I guess some of us are just far more sensitive to side effects ... for me, I was really happy I stuck at it
