Effexor xr

Anyone have any advice with taking Effexor xr Dr just put me on it I’m on day 2 and my heart is feeling funky and I’m all jittery on the inside. Just took a Xanax bc it was either that or go to the hospital

I am on Effexor. I've been on it awhile. I'm not sure what it felt like in the beginning.

With the start of a new med there are so many things we may feel.

The best thing to do is call your md. Tell them your symptoms and get some advice.

Based on my experience with different meds, it was always tough for the first few days.

I hope the Xanax helped . Give the md a ring and get his thoughts.

I have been on Effexor. for over ten years. I don't recall exactly how I felt but if I remember it usually takes one to two weeks to kick in. It was the only one that worked for me. Get and relax (easier said than done) and give it a chance. It works
