I was at my desk last week and I just felt like I was floating and my head felt far away it’s weird cause nothing triggered it. It was random

Anyone else? And what do you do about it

I won't be lazy and copy and paste the advice I've given before here but if you look through my post history there is some advice there that may help you with this.

Dissociation is usually known as the brain's way of copy and dealing with stress. When we have been through intense bouts of anxiety, stress, depression and anything else that intensely occupies our mind for periods of time our brain looks to escape from this through dissociation. Our mind likes to wonder in essence and take a short break.

It's also a method of the mind defending itself by making you feel as if the stress is not happening to you, hence you feel dissociated. Dissociation may also be depersonalization/derealization. There are some common themes amongst them but they still are usually caused by stress, anxiety and/or depression.

Although you have said that it was random, there is probably some form of underlying stress that you're currently or not currently addressing. This isn't to say that you aren't tackling life head on and moving forward, but maybe you need to give yourself a bit of a break and ground yourself.

Not what you're looking for?
