Pressure in head

Does anyone else get a pressure in their head & face, especially at night time when you’re trying to sleep. When I lay down I get all this pressure in my head and face, like my head is going to combust, I get a headache in my forehead and ringing in my ears, my face feels like pins and needles. Is this anxiety related? I’m convincing myself of all sorts, truth be told I’m quite concerned about it.

When your body is anxious your blood pressure levels , stress levels and general blood flow levels increase and when you lay down most of it travels to your head. It’s quite common for this to be a usual part of anxiety as a stuffy head / pressure in the head is usually smoking stress or anxiety or in most cases a cold or the flu. The ringing in your ears is caused by rapid blood flow around your head / ears and isn’t usually a cause for concerns either. I get most of what you describe depending on what kind of day I’ve had lol. By all means though see your doctor if your worried and let him rule anything serious out but from what you’ve described I’d say don’t worry.
