CBD for anxiety?

I had to ask my friends on the forum if any of you have tried this in lieu of or in conjunction with anxiety meds. I am debating trying it and haven’t asked my doctor yet (part of me is worried she will brush it off since they love pharmaceuticals so much). I have a long-term, decades old history of anxiety- mostly health anxiety and OCD.

I took CBD hemp oil and it made me majorly depressed and the depression has lasted a long time

Obvs I am super sensitive and you will most probably be fine but I urge you to approach it with caution
