Just curious, any experiences with drinking alcohol while on Zoloft? I take 100 mg. I am going out with some friends but I’m nervous about combing the two!

I avoid drinking alcohol while on an SSRI. I think the most I’ve had is 1 drink and the effects are magnified while on medication.
I'm pretty sure one of the warnings on this med is no alcohol. Kind of stinks when this is mandatory when you go out to have fun.
I take Effexor 150 and drink moderately with no problem. One thing I have heard is if you're taking a benzo, don't drink alcohol as they can be a dangerous mix. Everyone's body reacts differently but better to err on the side of caution.
