I've been having really bad health anxiety again. No joke ive been coughing past couple days and every once in awhile the thought slips in that im dying. I'm also pretty worried from foggy head and not feeling like me. Also i have bad allergies and my nose gets clogged up and I get worried that there's something wrong.

Flaxseed oil capsules could help with your allergies

There are a million reasons for a bad cough, a cold for example. You are not dying. If you are worried get yourself to a doctor and have some checks done. x

@Lindsey14 I have looked back at a number of your posts and notice that while you have received replies you have never come back in to acknowledge them. Have you seen them? It's very disheartening to keep replying to someone who never answers and makes me wonder if I (and others) are wasting our time and energy trying to help.

Don't forget we all suffer with our own issues here and getting no feedback can lead to us feeling bad. Not having a go at you my love but just saying how I feel. x

Hi Lindsey no need to apologise - like I said I'm not having a go at you or anything. Just an acknowledgement that you have seen the replies you get would let us know if anything we say to you is helpful. Otherwise we are in the dark.

Many on here suffer with health anxiety so also have a read of other posts too as you should be able to pick up some tips, and know that you aren't alone. x

I’m exactly the same health anxiety is horrendous I’m going through something myself at the minute I keep getting spotting in between my cycle so I’m thinking Ive got the big c or summat it’s ridiculous as 9/10 it more than likely isn’t but we dwell and convince ourselves that we have and it feels real... health anxiety gets me in the morning the worst I had one this morning even though I felt ok but it came on and to me it makes no sense....health anxiety is a proper thing people around us think otherwise but living it is awful I can only describe it as hell... just remember it’s your mind playing tricks on you can u identify your trigger what started you or is it the just the coughing..I know flu is going I’ve had a cold and slight cough for 2 weeks now and I was the same last week convinced myself I’ve got pneumonia or sepsis it’s so silly but so real to people like ya in a big way just know your not alone I’m also the same and that what we have are “fears and thoughts” that’s why our body’s react to it because our bodies think we’re in danger so that’s where the panic mode come from..trouble is when that thought comes in your head u think your dying it completely consumes you hugely and u start to believe it this is a normal reaction from someone with health anxiety

Here while u going through it maybe we can help each other through it

Thanks kind regards

Hi, I’m having much the same symptoms as u Natzsteveo. Suffer from Health anxiety...think I’ve got it under control, then bang it floors me again. I find by the evening I’ve got over it, yet when I wake up in the morning it’s waiting to pounce on me again. Sometimes if I wake up during the night & cant get back to sleep my mind goes into overdrive & I just feel I can’t cope anymore. But I reach out to people on this site who offer fantastic help & support for which I’m very grateful. Hope u get all the help u need too....it really is the pits 😕😕

That’s exactly how I am right as rain all evening then come morning I’m completely back to square one ... I also reach out on here because this is the only site I can actually relate to anyone who goes thru exactly what we’re going through thanks so much for your lovely reply

Hi Natz....it’s just an ongoing battle & we just need to keep fighting this & hopefully we will come out the other side victorious ( hopefully). I often find it therapeutic just typing a response on here, because u know u are speaking to someone who understands what u are going through xx

Yes exactly it is very therapeutic that someone else knows what we go through and that we are not alone in this battle

I had had a cough for the best part of this year. Thought it was just my asthma playing up but tests says no, but X-ray and CT scan all clear. No fluid in lungs or around heart but still have this cough and it’s driving me nuts. It’s worst in the morning, I wonder if it could be allergies?

Anyway see your GP and go from there :)
