ANXIETY REALLY TAKE OVER ME SOMETIMES ! REALLY WISH IT COULD LEAVE AND STAY GONE .....

Stress and worry .....
I feel the same. I have no idea why I’m so stressed and anxious half the time
Anxiety seems so common these days. What I hear is that the main contributors are:
social media and phone/computer use, access to way more information than our brains were meant to take in & process (especially news from all over the world, and most of it is bad), feeling obligated to constantly be productive, taking in too much caffeine, and loss of faith in God.
Do any of those ring true for you? You can do something about each one to lessen your anxiety.
Think about the things that trigger your anxiety. Get to the root of it. Deal with those triggers. Ask for help if you're having trouble discerning them. Here's a great listen on calming your fears: bit.ly/2ksZq2a
If you're like me and you overfill your days & weeks with TOO MUCH, it's time to plan to have some down time. You must schedule it or it won't happen. We all desperately need time to walk in nature, take a nap, stare at a wall, listen to music, read a great book, draw or paint or write, and pray. You need to get restored so you can do all the other things of life: go to work, raise kids, nurture relationships, do errands & laundry....the list is endless, right? Plan some margin in your day so you can find peace.
Speaking of peace, I find it in my relationship with God. If you're not a person of faith, hang in there. Don't dismiss God until you've given Him a chance. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Read the book of Mark in the New Testament. Read these comforting verses out loud:
You say I will be blessed when I trust You. Those who seek You lack no good thing. from Psalm 34:1-10
“God, You are my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? You are the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked come against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear!” Psalm 27:1-3
“God, You are my shepherd, I lack nothing. You make me lie down in green pastures, You lead me beside still waters, You restore my soul. You lead me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me! Your rod and your staff, they comfort me! You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in Your house forever. Amen.” Psalm 23:1-6
“Hear my cry, O God; from the ends of the earth I cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you are a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy…” Psalm 61:1-3
“You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2
I pray that you'll find comfort and peace in this crazy thing we call life!
BetterDays14, saying that out loud to Anxiety and really meaning it, can
help your thoughts back off for a while, allowing you to move forward.
Hearing your words out loud with power and force can make our brains
think twice as to who is in control.
At the first sign of a "what if" or a "doubt" speak out loud or even let out
your anger at anxiety by punching a pillow and then go on with your plans.
It works.... xx
I had no choice if I wanted to stay or go. I chose stay and take pills. It's like selling your soul to the devil. The devil however can be rotten and will remind you of this by increasing your need for pills. That's my feeling, do others feel the same? Don't know but the posts never stop. I'm sorry if you and others can't relate. My advice, try to avoid the devil.
