I am 63 and have a lot going on. I have kidney disease and high BP and lots of anxiety. Can not sleep which causes things physically to get worse. Any suggestions on anything to help sleep? I have tried ambien, all antidepressants, and many natural remedies. Also, calming tapes, etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you.are female I suggest some form of progesterone the fruit from the tropical rainforest called aguaje is superb it contains a precursor to progesterone otherwise there is natural progesterone cream Biovea is the only brand I can recommend as I have tried it many times but if you can.get a good source of aguaje it would be better
I use Sleep Stories on the app called Headspace. They really do help me get to sleep.
Hi Cathy
So sorry about your sleep issues. A few months ago, I had sleep apnea so I am finally able to get a good night sleep.
Is your problem falling asleep or waking up several times ?
My sleep doctor told me to have a regular sleep schedule She said it is better to take a nap then wake up later on the weekends. She also told me to put my phone and my computer on Night Shift. I also think working out ( walking is great) also helps and watch your caffeine intake.
If you have tired many things and you are still struggling , talking to your GP or a Sleep Study doctor are also good choices.
Good luck !
