I got the idea in my head that the fogginess I experience is due to lack of oxygen to my head...I know its kinda silly but I can't shake the thought

Stressing over health anxiety
If you weren't getting enough oxygen to your brain, you would have other symptoms. You would be panting and feeling short of breath as your body tried to get more oxygen. The breathlessness would get worse when you did any kind of exercise because your muscles would consume some of the limited oxygen you have.
So you dont think it's that?
I'm not a doctor of course, but I feel pretty sure it's not. We all get an urge to breathe faster and more deeply if we're short of oxygen (for example, because we've been exercising). You would feel like that if your brain was short of oxygen.
People who have been smoking for many years sometimes get a condition where their lungs are damaged and they can't get enough oxygen at all. It's very unpleasant, apparently, but mainly because they feel breathless all the time. Mental fogginess isn't part of it.
You will be okay 💕
If it is a lack of O2, take some deep ass breaths , slow and steady and you will re oxygenate
I have this too. I have come to realize that when I get stressed or anxious, I tense up all my muscles in my neck and head. This causes the head pressure. The head pressure makes me more anxious which then leads to a panic attack. I have this everyday. I thought also that I wasn’t getting enough oxygen to my brain. Then I realized that when we are tense, it does cause a slight restriction on oxygen of the muscles are being over used.
Definitely not silly. Anxiety feeds on what we focus on. Remember to be here in the moment now and know that you are ok. This too shall pass
Hi ! I have this too and I realized that when we are stressed we start to breath short ! Many times but short so we get soooo many syntoms because we are on too much or too low oxygen but we are ok
It helps me to sit and breath deeply
God bless you 🙏🏻
