Pressure/tingling in head

Does anyone else experience like a pressure/tingling feeling in the back of your head? Along with dizziness? Genuinely feels like my head is going to burst at times its so scary

Hello Lucky253. I get this feeling wayy too often. I went to the ER for it and they told me it was sinusitis and gave me amoxicillin. That did nothing for me so I went to my PCP who prescribed augmentin. That cleared it up but the side effects were so severe that I only got to day 7 out of the 14 days I was supposed to take it. I was fine for a week and a half but the pressure appears to be back. This could be due to the crazy storms we’ve been getting in my state so I’m not looking too into it. As for the tingling, your anxiety may cause you to tense your muscles which may result in a pinched nerve which could be the tingling. But I’m not too sure about that. If you’re worried and if it doesn’t go away, I would definitely see your PCP and maybe a neurologist. I’m being treated by a neurologist now and I have an upcoming MRI for my brain, so I’ll let you know if they say anything about the cause of the pressure in my head. Keep me updated as well!
