Hey does anyone feel spacey in the way that they are so zoned out , but still talking to someone and a noise happens close by , but it makes you jump ten feet into the air ? Also it feels like at times your floating and don’t have a care in the world ? Totally opposite to a panic attack . I sweat this afternoon I felt like I had a big smoke of something . And I have not smoked marijuana since I was 25 , I’m now 54 . Weird that all I can say .

Hi, I’ve had this too, I think it’s a way our brains cope with ongoing anxiety, it’s like a break from over sensitized nerves. We don’t necessarily suffer from depersonalization disorder but we can slip into that mode when we’ve just had to much stress.

Yer that’s it , when we are relaxed we get that feeling and it’s probably normal in a way , but we are used to being so high wired it’s weird . The joys of living with a panic disorder 🙄

I have had this phenonemon for almost a year now..it was really really bad but now it is just mild brain fogginess...feeling OFF or spacey as you said.......I think it is HORMONES ....I am not sure which ones but I think cortisol is low and estrogen is too high and not enough progesterone.....just my guess in my own life......
