Dizzy from propanolol

I took my first ever pill of propanolol, my heart slowed down and now I’m feeling dizzy eventho Im already lying down. I’m really really scared, my breathlessness didnt get better or worse but the dizziness and slow heart rate is scaring me. Is that normal? I feel like I’m going to pass out.

It’s probably a panic attack hun.youve been so anxious about taking it that your mind has gone into overdrive.

I promise you that 10mg is such a low dose that it won’t harm you.just take some deep breaths.ive just taken my lunchtime dose and I promise you it’s okay.

Well done for taking it.you won’t feel that constant thudding in your chest as much now and when it gets into your system will make a lot of difference x

So a panic attack can come even if my heart wasn’t racing? I also felt pain in my left chest and back everytime I took a breath. I couldn’t stand up from how dizzy I was and how heavy my chest felt. Was that just me being anxious? Because I was indeed scared of my heart stopping. Thank you so much, you are the one that gave me confidence in taking my first pill. How long will it take to make that difference?

Oh yes a panic attack can have many different symptoms.

It took a couple of days for me to get used to them and then loved how my heart wasn’t pounding 24/7!

Bless you too! My heart has definitely gotten better but my breathing is the issue! And the tightening of my central chest and all of my abdomen, that’s restricting my breathing is what’s bothering me now and causing me to think that I am going to die soon
