Hey everyone , Has anyone experienced facial spasms for prolonged periods of time ? My right eyelid has been at it for nearly 2 months now and although isn’t 24/7 it happens a lot on and off each day. I also get a small spasm in my chin and above my eyebrow. Ive been told that this is down to stress and anxiety and is very common but some back up or reassurance from someone on here might help me to put my mind at ease. I used to suffer with health anxiety really bad so I’m banned from google etc as I always used to assume the worst. My stress levels are up but not all the time and the anxiety seems to be improving but the spasms / twitches are starting to make me worry.

Facial spasms

Not on the face but had them in legs and arms before all part of it so I’m told. I should ban myself from google to be honest. there’s No one here to stop me though ...except me!
Oh yeah. I’ve had it in my eye lid. Cheeks and chin. The slight one in my cheek lasted the longest. 🤦🏼♀️
How long did it last and was it anything serious ? Did you ever find the cause or anything that helped ??
My eye lid was well over a month. My cheek was a good 3-4 months. Nothing serious. Just from being stressed, anxious, and not sleeping well. The eye doctor told me to keep up on electrolytes as being low can cause them.
Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. Appreciated. It gives me some relief to hear that someone else has had this and it went away eventually. I’ve stepped up my sleep to more than usual but I’m am currently very stressed and although the anxiety is at bay I’m assuming it’s still there inside me.
I have had this on the eyelid for many years on and off. I just put it down to a nervous twitch, which has never bothered me.
I get this also. I've read it's from fatigue.
It can last about a half day. So annoying
It's not every day so that's good
