Hearing thumping noises

So I started to hear soft thumping noises at night, at first I thought it was from external factors, but I now realise that it's in my ears. I can hear the thumping in my ears. anyone experienced this?

I may have the same thing, but didn’t believe it.

Is it very spaced out and soft?

yes it is. It's soft, sounds like muffled knocking, but not constant

I see, mine is very spaced out and a single thump. Not sure what to think about it.

Do you have any type of tinnitus? My tinnitus tones sometimes change from buzzing to thumping and usually to my heartbeat.

Yes, I have tinnitus. But it's always been the ringing type.

I do but it's only in my right ear. I'm hoping it's from my allergies kicking up from Spring. Might be an ear infection or sinuses too. It's not painful though so I've been trying to just ignore it. It's not constant and I haven't noticed any pattern to it (shrug).
