Hi everyone!

Good morning, Minnie, yes, that is /was me every morning. Since I m on beta blockers it is much better(did you check my PM to you last week?) . I also got my stomach sorted (stress related gastritis causing symptoms of anxiety). The beta blockers were not prescribed because there was something wrong with my heart but rather because I refused to stay on my anti depressants which made me feel more anxious than I already was. ADs are helpful for many, but I couldn t take the first few weeks of adjustment. My GP suggested to calm down my main symptom, the racing heart. Since I m on beta blockers, low dose, I m feeling much better. I sleep, no nightmares, no waking up with my heart racing. I m more relaxed during the day now knowing that my heart will behave For me this is very helpful. We are all different and react to meds differently so it might not be for you. After my heart had been checked several times and I still believed something was wrong with my heart this was a good solution. Hope you get better soon. xx
Sent you a PM.😊
Forgot to ask in that,do you mind me asking if they captured the racing on a monitor and how fast your heart went?im being referred to a cardiologist even though she’s only found fast heart xxx
They couldn t see my palpitations on a monitor. Whenever I came to my GP it was gone. I bought a Kardia Mobile EKG device (medical device for smart phone) and took readings when I had the palps. I printed that out and had my GP have a look at it.
You are not alone. Mine has eased off a bit, but it was as soon as I opened my eyes, I'd start to shake and feel overwhelming "fear". This has been a 3 yr battle for me and no meds nor other types of control has helped it. I will not give up.
I’ve only just seen this.
Bless you.isnt it just the absolute worst.well know that you are not alone x
Why is it that at times it does make one feel less along just knowing there are others like our self out there!
I know exactly what you mean!
I would wish this on anyone, but it does make you feel better knowing there are others like you!
I had an appointment with my psyciatrist this morning and basically it was in and out and repeats of my prescriptions. Yes, we have to try to help ourselves, but it is much more complicated than many think. You can try every suggestion made to you and still get no benefit. Let's just keep trying!
yes I do more a feeling of dread but when I get up and get on with the day it eases, probably because my prozac has worn off.
Yup, I get all of these along with severe trouble breathing and pressure in my ears. It scares me so much all the time :/
