I can’t tell you how many GP appointments I’ve attended in the last month. Up until a month ago, I never had experienced a panic/anxiety attack, well, I’ve never had anxiety before but all of a sudden, I was having up to 8 a day and through the night. Scariest experience I’ve ever had. The first one, I actually thought I was having a heart attack and dying so I called an ambulance, I probably called 999 4/5 times at the beginning of these episodes.
GP has prescribed me Propanalol which is a beta blocker so calms your heart rate, palpitations are the worst! Propanalol has taken the edge off but it’s not a cure.
I have got a lot of tension in my head, like a pressure and sometimes pain that shoots up from my neck into my jaw and ears, my ears pop, jaw sometimes feels almost like it’s numb, pressure in my forehead and behind my eyes. Does anyone else get this?
Dr is saying it’s still symptoms of anxiety even if my attacks are at bay for now, she says it takes a while for your body to get back to where it once was relaxed.

Honestly, it was in the time frame when i just began having anxiety and panic so i hadn't seen a dr about those problems yet. Um, but the more you focus on it, the more it's gonna persist. You may get relief from OTC items like tylenol, etc. But that's only a temporary fix
Hi, I suffered from panic attacks, had severe anxiety, to top it all i have heart palpitations.. and yes your right they are the worst! Been numerous times to the hospital and gp, they have told me its stress thats causing the anxiety etc... so he put me on propanol 10mg 2tabs once a day. Its coming to 18 months since i started propanol but still occasionally feel sick and extremely tired, but the panic attacks have stopped!! Also been referred to talking therapy gonor give a go see if it helps..your not mad your just suffering stick with the propanol, make sure u have good family support, and try to keep active! Hope u feel better soon.. its not gonor get better overnight but u will see a difference, x
I will say with my panic attacks it happens to me when I try to sleep and it wakes me up out of my sleep. And no matter how many times I've experienced this, it's a scary and awful feeling every time that makes me worry that something bad is about to happen. And yes panic attacks is what have constantly kept me at the hospitals, doctors visits, clinics, and er. I get ear pressure, ears ring, blurry vision, heart racing, and wake up in sweats. My head pressure feelings come on often even without having panic attacks. But I'm not taking any meds. Tried it once before for 45 days and quit. And I like to continue to not be on medication. It's a struggle though.
I talk all about my anxiety and my journey on YouTube. All my videos I discuss many of my fears and worries and much of what you are saying. If you'd like, feel free to check out my YouTube channel. It has helped me alot because I just get to talk about my anxiety and hopefully help others along the way and show my face and who I am. 😊 wish you the best.
