So I haven’t been feeling good the last two weeks been on the couch coughing feeling awful (stick with me here) I went to the walk in last Thursday and they diagnosed me with an ear infection and a respiratory infection they sent me home with doxycycline hyclate for the infection and benzonatate for the cough. Im not sensitive generally to medication but this was awful - violent heaving. And my brain seized up so bad I kept trying to count to 10 and say the ABC’s because I thought I was going brain-dead. My husband had to get me cold cloths to put on my eyes I felt like my brain was frying. This happened two days in a row because I took it Friday and Saturday. Well I’m reading the side effects on the doxycycline hyclate and it says may cause a serious increase in pressure inside skull (cranial hypertension )-IH there is a chance of permanent vision loss or blindness. Well I woke up this morning and I thank God I can see. I have a dull headache. The moral to the story is I’m still here. 👍
