Increased Zoloft last week on Thursday. I was feeling great for about 4 days. Now today, a little disconnected. Is it typical for dose changes to affect someone in this way? Almost 8 weeks on Zoloft but still having ‘bad’ days.

Hi Mongea.
Really glad to hear you have been doing so well. It is really normal to have good days and bad days , that will go on for quite a while usually. I started to feel the most improvement after about 4 or 5 months. At around 6 months I had flu and that really knocked me back quite badly for a few weeks and I had many bad days then gradually I improved again and stayed very good with few bad days at all after that but even now can have the odd day when physical symptoms of feeling a bit sick or a tiny bit disconnected can occur. It normally now would only last a few minutes actually and is likely to happen if I am very hungry or tired. I just have breathlessness in the morning as a rather persistent symptom but it is nothing and can easily be ignored or relieved by physical activity.
You sound as if you are making really good progress and even if you have quite a few bad days now you have to expect it , not worry and be patient.
Very best wishes.
Kim
