I take 3 pills of Anxiety-Free by Ridgecrest Herbal everyday. It takes a bit to get into the system, so you have to take consistently in order for it to work. I’m on my second week, and I have seen a change. I still have anxiety, but it is definitely not as bad as it was before. They work fast now that I have taken it for a bit. It has B-vitamins, L-Theanine, Lemon Balm, Passion Flower, Ashwagandha. It gives you a sense of calm, and helps with relaxation. I like them. I’m going to get getting some CBD oil this week to try, but Anxiety-Free is a good start.
Ashleigh, You pose a good question. I started looking into alternative treatment for depression and anxiety when traditional medications stopped working. I wish i had done it sooner.
I found that ionic magnesium chloride eases depression, and regulates mood, helping to feel calm and relaxed; provides cellular energy, which helps muscles strength, and exercise; promotes sleep; prevents migraines; many other uses. G.A.B.A. (gamma-aminobutric ) is a neurotransmitter in the brain; controls fear and anxiety when neurons become overexcited, treats insomnia, levels mood swings, increases serotonin levels. (many medications mimic the uses of GABA).
Based on my research into ionic magnesium chloride and G.A.B.A., I have been taking both supplements with good success. For me, they work as well as any prescription medication I have ever tried.
If you decide to give these supplements a try, be sure that your choice in brands has the amount listed on the label. Consumer Labs conducts testing of supplements that I have found to be reliable.
Best of luck to you.
