Do you know what? I have the same problem. I asked my GP if that my be connected to my anxiety and he said it is not. I went to gynecologist , he did all the blood tests and USG scan, everything is ok. He said he believes that it my be because of the anxiety as it can cause hormonal imbalance in our body. So I don't know one thing one way another different way. I believe if everything is ok physically then it must be related to anxiety.

Stress can cause hormones to be out of wack which can affect our period. The period is not always going to be consistent it might come at a different time than what you would of expected. I have gotten my period twice in one month at times (3 weeks apart) depending on the length of the month and sometimes cus it just comes earlier then expected.

It can be stress related, as the others have said, it can be because of a hormone imbalance. Although this might be true, I would keep track of your symptoms and how often it happens for a few months, and report it to your doctor who will be able to give you more information once you know a little more about it (if there's a pattern, etc).
