Hi all! I have an interview at an assisted living and memory care center. If I get the job its for Noc shift from 10 pm to 6 am. Part time a few nights a week. I need to keep my disability so this would be perfect!!! They will pay 200 to 500 dollars toward the CNA classes. If I get hired ill have to get certified within 6 months. This job is in their memory care center. I'm totally freaked out! I never do good in interviews! I go blank when they ask any questions. Not good whatsoever!๐จ๐ฑ If y'all can say a tiny prayer I'd be grateful big time๐๐ Have a blessed day everyone!!!!๐๐๐๐
Interview full body panic๐จ๐ฑ: Hi all! I... - Anxiety Support
Interview full body panic๐จ๐ฑ
hey good luck wishing you all the best.always good to research the company and take down some important notes and memorise them before you go.think of the positive changes it will have on your life lets hope that takes away any nerves or fear.listen to some music on the way even chew some gum to calm the nerves.good luck.
Thanks so much. I did look at their website and looked at what they do in the memory care facility. It says we have to remember 25 things about each resident! I'm like holy s..t! With my memory I should be a resident not the caregiver!!๐๐ Lol. Plus I have a super bad vocal tic which is a humming noise I get from the adderall. I knew I shouldn't of taken it but now That's really making me panic. I'm trying to chill, stay calm but I keep doing it! Hoping for the best today. I'm getting this job one way or another! Thank you!!
Good luck!! You got this!! Your in my thoughts!!
Big big hugs sent to you!!
Hugs chef Michael! Thank you!!! I'm getting this job!! They are desperate for ppl. They are hiring on the spot if you qualify. Hope that's me today๐๐ I'm cursed with a humming vocal tic that I can't stop right now and that's making me panic! Its like a Tourettes like tic. Omg just need to do my best and hide it the best I can. Hugs hugs HUGS!๐๐
Good luck my friend hope you get it ๐๐๐
Not sure what to think now its over! It seemed ok but at times very weird. I haven't had an interview in like 5 years. I felt so embarrassed but they said this lady Sierra would do second interview. Said she'll call me. Not sure if that was crap or not. Anyways thank you!!! Still hoping!!!
even if it did go against you at least you went and gave it your best shot.after 5 years it must have been hard but you should be proud of yourself either way.fingers crossed and well done its good for your confidence.
I don't know if you have had the interview yet or not. IF so ????
Working the night shift in memory care is a very important position.
If they do hire you "on the spot" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get the book THE 36 Hour day, and read it cover to cover as soon as possible. It was a fascinating read for me and I read it over a weekend.
IT will calm your fears, it will educate you so that you are a very good carer . Then all you have to do, is be early to work, and do exactly what they ask you to do.
Care homes NEED compassionate, attentive, hard working folks.
The love you get will over ride any and all of your fears, and hard nights.
The residents need you so very much.
Oh I know I've been doing this work like 20 years. I know all about the love you get back from the residents. Its a wonderful feeling to know your helping them. Didn't get hired on the spot so not sure at all how it went. Just hoping still. I like that its noc shift personally. I have no kids no husband driving me nuts so it works perfect for me to work those hours! All the Mormons in this state have 5 kids minimum and a husband. I'm able to be flexible unlike other candidates. She said the hiring lady would call me for second interview. Hoping she was telling me the truth. Lol
Good bless you and you get the job ๐
Will definitely pray for U. I wish U all the best!
I'm praying they will call on Monday but who knows. I'm so unsure how it went cause it was so hard to tell. What do you do for work? I'm afraid they just said they would call for second interview and lied. I don't know. Nervous!!! ๐ thanks! Have a good day!!
Oh wow super cool job. I'd love to have a job in the ER!!! Sounds very cool. Thanks for your advice!! Hope your right about the interview. I need this job even if its only part time. I'm on disability but that doesn't even cover rent. I love the night shift too. That's why I'm hoping for this 10pm to 6:30 am shift. Hope you get some sleep today sometime!!!
