Angioedema

Anyone else has this? Underneath both my feet are swollen and itchy, feels like I’m walking on golf balls... my eyes are also swollen and there is this huge raised bump close to my buttocks... I’m also itchy all over.. I don’t know what type of Angioedema I have but my mind has been wreaking havoc on me since I read that angiodema can be caused by certain type of cancers or auto-immune disease. Even though the most likely cause is allergies... which I haven’t ruled out yet.

But as usual my mind goes to worse case scenario first. Another part of the worry comes from the fact that there is a risk of swelling of the tongue or throat which can be life threatening as well. So i get mini panick attacks thinking that I might have trouble breathing to the point where I actually feel my throat closing up even though it’s not.

I would go to the emergency room; this is the appropriate thing to do for a severe allergy attack. They will be able to treat it right away.

It’s not my first one, and my brother who is a GP lives with me and has been monitoring my symptoms. I take Benadryl 3 times a day....
