I always have a high heart rate in the morning when I first get up can be 90-100 bpm then in the evening it will only be around 50-60. Could it be that anxiety levels are higher in the morning as I feel anxious it is that different

Sorry to here u experience this! Not sure how old you are or if you have anxiety or not? I knw anxiety can definitely cause some blood pressure to raise in some. I’m sure you have or want to check with your Dr. But also I’ve heard that something to do w/ thyroid can do this as well- either under active or overactive my sister had this overactive thyroid and was fairly easy fix for her as well as my grandmother proper treatment & diet can really help. But I’ve been recommended to get blood test for all hormones cause it helps to determine what’s really go on- like maybe too much estrogen ??not enough? or not enough progesterone hormone?? Or thyroid levels off?? Or adrenals stressed or adrenal overload?? Just some thoughts hope you feel better soon!!🌼keep posting here as well very caring people here!

HI again! I have the same issue. My HR is 64 when I go to bed but when I wake up or move it jumps to 90-100 then comes back down again. Of course I keep thinking why is my heart rate so high when I didn't even get out of bed yet? It does settle back to HR 78 once I'm up. I've been having strange vivid dreams lately so when I wake up I think I'm anxious from that..Not taking meds yet either. Wonder if it's certain foods making me dream like that?

Lauriem4, the cortisol levels are certainly higher in the morning causing those with anxiety to respond in a heightened state of alert when waking up. Once you start

moving for the day, your adrenaline levels will slowly wean off until they are at their lowest in the evening which reflects on your hr and b/p being lower. xx

Yeah I thought that might be why as adrenaline wears off throughout the day .Thanks for the reply :)
