Missing beats

The other day I put hand on chest and it went beat beat beat beat pause beat beat. Is this Normal? It scared the life out of me? Apparently it is not dangerous. I don’t know.

Sandy, as you may know they're not missed beats, it's a fraction of a second delay between beats. I get it occasionally and always when I'm anxious about something. I can tell when it happens without feeling my pulse. I find it very hard to get worried about them, they are a perfectly normal symptom of stress. No need to worry about them, Sandy, they are harmless, just don't pay them too much attention.

This is a great question for your GP to answer for you and re assure you of any and all concerns that you have about it.

Personally, I have experienced what you write about, and my physician gave me many tests and then re assured me what it was ( or ) wasn't.

I have skipped beats all the time on and off for years im 42 now.been docs numerous times had all the tests nothing wrong but u always convince yourself there is,they are uncomfortable and make u feel anxious im now on a low dose of beta blockers which make me feel very calm but still have skipped beats !😒
