The anxiety feeds off your fear for the symptoms and that makes them even worse honestly just have to ride them out and it will calm down a little bit x
Deep breathing exercises can help in the short term. Close your mouth. Take a deep breath in through the nose, while slowly counting to six. Hold for 2 seconds. Purse lips and let air out slowly, counting to six. Do this several times, until your body relaxes.
I have recently started taking ionic magnesium chloride, as most of us are deficient. Not having enough magnesium can cause anxiety and muscle cramps, especially in the legs.
I didn’t know that about magnesium. I’ve been getting leg cramps in my calves and my anxiety has been way amped lately.
There is a magnesium I take. It’s called CALM. It’s a powder you put in water or a drink. You can get it at Walmart, Wegmans, Whole Foods. Or a health food store.

I have also suffered with severe anxiety problems for 15 years now. I’ve had better times than others , but I understand what you mean and how it can take such a hold over you and make you feel so scared and worried. I still avoid certain situations which I know is feeding the anxiety.
I went through a lot of group session counselling and meditations and self help books to get to a manageable point, and I have to work at it daily.
