Hi Maria...just doing the best I can, sun is glorious, not a bad day for me today but understand others may not be having such a good one. Shared a glass of wine this afternoon with a friend who lives nearby., and carried on knitting a doll for a South African Charity for orphaned children. I find that it helps me and helps them, which is good and makes me feel of some use in my old age!! Anything helps which diverts my attention from myself and my pain, keep doing a bit and then getting up and stretching, doing the exercises Physio have given me, which does help as I get sore from too much (necessary) sitting!! Take care xx

Hi there wingsofadove :) the sun has been beaming where I am too. There’s a festival on and I live in town so the sounds are abit horrid as it’s quite loud and my brain doesn’t like a lot of noise but keeping my cool! Sounds lovely for you to have a win with a friend :) that sounds fabulous I’ve never tried knitting I tried crochet once and really struggled to get any further than the basic step , I’ve retried quite a few times and had no luck I must be missing a trick somehow! I get sore quite easily espically my shoulders as I do a lot of sitting too! Take care :) xx

Mariapalmer, thanks for asking :) The day is HOT here in Chicago. Just chilling. Actually being low keyed helps both the anxiety and b/p reading (was perfect)

I hope your weekend goes well and your anxiety stays low :) xx

Hi there agora1 ☺️ it’s very hot where I live in wales at the moment too, I avoid to the sun a lot due to headaches and eye sensitivity! My anxiety hasn’t been the best but not too bad! Glad your BP reading was perfect do you usually have a high or low BP?xx

High,, when I get anxious (like before a doctor or dentist appointment) it's the worse :)

Then when I get home OR I cancel, all is well and b/p goes down to normal again.

Talk about over sensitized nervous system. :) xx

That’s the worst for me too. Sometimes My eyes go all funny and I can’t get my words out it’s really odd. I need to have 2 teeth pulled and I’m not actually scared of having my teeth pulled it’s the anxiety I dread! Mines usually quite low but not low enough for them to want to do anything about it !

It’s crazy how our anxiety causes our bodies to go manic like that xx
